Last week, we were delighted to partner with the British Museum to share a live lesson on the Bayeux Tapestry with our pupils, marking 960 years since the Battle of Hastings!

Pupils learnt about the Norman Conquest and got to examine the 70-metre embroidery, which is currently on display at the museum.

Our children loved the experience, describing it as "really interesting" and expressing a desire to go and see the tapestry themselves in person!

Thank you to the British Museum for providing this opportunity to our pupils, and to Mrs Kellett for her hard work in organising the event!
