The Year 7 boys football team delivered a superb performance on Monday as they secured an emphatic 7–1 win against local rivals Walton-le-Dale. From the first whistle, the team showed confidence, composure, and a real desire to play attacking football.
It didn’t take long for the boys to take control of the match, with Bailey M leading the charge and finding the back of the net an incredible five times. His finishing was clinical throughout, capitalising on chances created by some excellent build-up play in midfield.
Supporting him, Declan P added two well-taken goals of his own, rounding off a dominant team display. Beyond the goalscorers, every player contributed to the victory—whether through strong defending, clever passing, or relentless pressing that kept Walton-le-Dale under pressure for much of the game.
Coaches praised the squad not only for their skill but also for their teamwork and positive attitude, noting how well the boys communicated and supported one another on the pitch.
A huge well done to the whole team. Keep up the great work!
