Students from Years 7 and 8 did their school proud this week as they travelled to All Hallows to take part in the highly anticipated Indoor Athletics competition. The event brought together teams from across the area, creating a lively and competitive atmosphere as pupils showcased their speed, strength, and teamwork.
Despite being one competitor short of a full squad, the Year 8 team delivered an outstanding performance. Their determination and resilience were clear throughout the afternoon, with every athlete stepping up to support one another. Their efforts paid off with a series of strong individual results and a commendable overall showing.
The Year 7 team also rose to the occasion, demonstrating impressive talent and composure for such a young group. Their hard work culminated in a fantastic achievement: finishing second overall in the competition.
Staff praised both teams for their attitude, sportsmanship, and commitment, noting how well they represented the school.
A huge well done to all involved. Great work!
