A group of enthusiastic Year 10 pupils from Brownedge St Mary’s enjoyed an inspiring and insightful day at Runshaw College after being invited to take part in the college’s prestigious Masterclass event.

The visit offered pupils the chance to experience a wide range of post‑16 courses, giving them a valuable taste of what college life could look like in the near future. Throughout the day, students rotated through a series of hands‑on sessions designed to stretch their academic thinking, build confidence, and introduce them to new subjects and skills beyond the GCSE curriculum.

Staff at Runshaw College created an engaging programme that showcased the breadth of opportunities available after Year 11, allowing pupils to explore potential future interests in a supportive and challenging environment.
