Our Head Prefects were proud to represent Brownedge at yesterday's Holocaust Memorial event at the Civic Centre, where they joined members of the community in honouring the millions of lives tragically lost. The ceremony offered a powerful moment of reflection, reminding us of the importance of remembrance, unity, and standing together against all forms of hatred and discrimination.

This year’s theme, ‘Bridging Generations’, encouraged us to think deeply about how the lessons of the past can be carried forward, shared, and protected by young people today. Our students were humbled to take part, recognising the responsibility we all share in ensuring that the stories and experiences of survivors continue to be heard and understood by future generations.

We extend our sincere thanks to South Ribble Borough Council for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful and moving occasion. It was a privilege to stand alongside others in remembrance and solidarity.
