Yesterday was an emotional one for staff and pupils alike, as we bid farewell to our incredible Year 11s.
This year group have shown true resilience and dedication, embodying the Brownedge spirit in their drive to let their light shine.
It was a particularly special day for this year group, as covid lockdowns meant these pupils never got a proper goodbye from primary school. Getting the chance to celebrate, reminisce and make memories together one last time was something everyone cherished throughout the day.
From a tear-jerking leavers assembly, to a peaceful mass, and pizzas, ice cream and shirt signing in the grounds of St Mary's Church, it was a fantastic way for Year 11 to end their Brownedge journey.
Goodbye, good luck and thank you for everything, Year 11.
