It was brilliant for us to celebrate the grand opening of our recently renovated library on Monday.
We were privileged to welcome author Ruth Eastham again to Brownedge, who led a brilliant creative writing session with our Year 7s, as well as holding a book signing and giving a speech to pupils.
Our new librarians also received their badges and took part in a celebratory session with Ruth, staff and governors.
We hope this new investment in our library will help to enhance the important culture of reading in our school.
