Our chaplain, Mike, has recently been helping our Year 7s plant daffodils in the school gardens. This follows our Welcome Mass, where all new pupils were given a prayer card depicting a daffodil.

Before the planting, Mike has been leading our Year 7s in the following prayer:

Lord, creator of heaven & earth, bless these bulbs that we are planting.
May they grow and bring joy & beauty to your earth when they bloom.
Bless too these students who have planted these bulbs.
May they trust that, like these bulbs in the coming months, they too will be growing and developing roots that through your Spirit will allow them to bloom and bring joy & beauty in journeying towards becoming who you created them to be.
