S.V.P.
We believe that our young people can use their voices to make a difference in our community. By engaging in charity, Youth SVP we can use our abilities and ideas to get involved in causes we care about and make a positive change in our school and parishes. The S.V.P. group meet every Monday after school in Room 2.
CAFOD
CAFOD is an international development charity and the official aid agency of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. Through our work we reach out to people living in poverty with practical help, whatever their religion or culture. Rachael and Mrs Thompson run our CAFOD group every Tuesday after school in room 1.
Meditation
The Quiet Minds Prayer is said at the end of lunchtimes each Friday in the Chapel. Everyone is welcome!
Breakfast with God
Join us in the hall every Tuesday morning from 8.30 for a sing-song, toast, juice and prayer.
Chaplaincy GIFT Team
Our GIFT chaplaincy team is going from strength to strength. Our team is entrusted with a range of responsibilities in our school including:
- Giving joyful witness of Christ in our school – missionary disciples.
- Assisting with the delivery and development of the prayer life of school supporting assemblies, worship, class prayer times and prayer groups.
- Developing and leading social justice activities in school.
- Developing outreach work and supporting local, national and international charities – Caritas Diocese of Salford, Cafod: working for change – being the change makers.
