Our activities around National Apprenticeships Week continued today, with a visit for a group of Year 10 pupils to Leyland Trucks!
Our pupils watched a presentation on the company's apprenticeship scheme, before taking part in a factory tour. There was also the valuable opportunity to ask questions and find out more information about the company from current staff and apprentices.
During our trip, we also saw former pupil Daniel, who - after completing his GCSEs at Brownedge last year - is now working as an engineering apprentice on the production line.
A great example to current pupils of the work-based pathways available to them after school.
