Open Evening 2022
Welcome to Brownedge St Mary's
Nothing delights me more than welcoming our new Year 7s into our family at Brownedge St Mary's. To gain an insight into our fantastic school, please have a look through our website and our transition pages where you can meet our staff and pupils to give you a taster as to what life at Brownedge is like. You can have a virtual look around school to get a feel of our surroundings and facilities and watch videos from the different subjects we offer at school. Due to the ever increasing popularity of our exceptional Open Evenings, Mrs Oddie has pre-recorded her speech for you to watch at your own convenience. Be sure to take a look to discover why the disciplined cand caring environment of our school is the first choice to be considered by you.
If you would still like to book onto a live talk you can use the Eventbrite links below. The booking is Mrs Oddie's talk only, please feel free to tour the school at any time during the evening.
Those of you who know us will appreciate that the feel of a school – its atmosphere, relationships and values – are so important for a successful high school like ours. We believe it is very important for to be able to come and see us for yourself. For this reason, we hold an annual Open Evening in September, which is very successful and allows you to experience and feel the buzz of our school. We are always blown away by how many parents and primary pupils come to visit. Our next Open Evening is Wednesday 21st September 2022. Come and see for yourself what makes Brownedge St Mary’s the exceptional choice for providing a value-based education that will last a lifetime.
The best people to tell you about our school family is our pupils themselves. Without them we are not a school, merely a building with no soul. They are the ones that make it come alive and we know this to be the case so recently.
On our Open Evening, our new Year 7 and more experienced Year 11 pupils will take you on a guided tour around school and are on hand to answer all your questions and give you a great insight into what it is like to be a pupil at our school. To give you a glimpse of what to expect here are some views from our pupil leaders
We are very proud to introduce our most Senior Prefects. Introducing Ayriya Dadpour and Louis Wall, our Head Prefects, and Gracie Chambers, Madeline Hughes, Alex Carnovale and Joshua Holland, our Deputy Head Prefects.
Our Admissions team look forward to answering your questions at this time and are on hand to answer any queries you might have. Please contact Mrs Chester on chesterv@st-maryshigh.lancs.sch.uk if you have any questions and we will reply asap.
